DRAGON DOES EXISTS?
Dragons are majestic creatures, they are fierce and powerful and to some stories and tales, there was once a time that Dragons ruled the world. Although there are just countless arguments of science and facts that it is impossible that a magnificent creature like the dragon exists, spiritual experts beg to differ. Dragons had long been a very important and symbolic thing for most cultures, especially in Chinese culture. A dragon, as described by the Chinese, is a large, serpentine legendary creature that appears in the folklore of many of their allegories and fables that are spread and widely known around the world. Beliefs about dragons vary considerably through regions, but dragons in western cultures since the High Middle Ages have often been depicted as winged, horned, four-legged, and capable of breathing fire. While the Chinese dragon has very different connotations from the European dragon, as mentioned above, in European cultures, the dragon is a fire-breathing creature with aggressive connotations, whereas the Chinese dragon is a spiritual and cultural symbol that represents prosperity and good luck, as well as a rain deity that fosters harmony. It is a creature of high value and not just a mere expression of awesomeness and the ironically cool way they breathe out fire. In some other cultures, Dragons are often identified with Satan, due to the references to Satan as a "dragon" in the Book of Revelation. In Western folklore, dragon-like creatures and dragons in Christian literature are usually portrayed as evil, except mainly in Asturian and Welsh folklore and modern fiction.
Although arguments still instill up to this day whether or not dragons do exist, there are a few articles circulating on the web of a few lucky people seeing the majestic creature that is the Dragon. Like the very popular incident that took place in Laos, a southeast Asian country that gathered tons of reports saying that people have seen a five-headed green, brown and yellow dragon on a lake situated near the capital of the Laos, these ''Dragon-spotters'' claimed that they saw a creature that is about 15 feet long and has a baffling number of 10 eyes. Of course, critics are always there to go against the thing the Dragon-spotters saw with their very eyes and suggested they while maybe they did see a creature that is as close to a dragon, perhaps it is possible that they saw a completely different reptile that only reassembles the magnificent beast. It is oddly similar to the famous Loch Ness monster more commonly known as Nessi. Critics said that if it is indeed a dragon, why would a fire-breathing creature reside underwater? So in conclusion, they classified this sighting not as a sighting of dragons but as a simple sighting of a long tailed fish. Either way, it is extremely eerie and baffling to see a 15 feet long creature hovering by a lake!
There are no fossils found as of now that prove that dragons do exist but either way, the symbol of the dragon is already so powerful that it penetrates more culture than its sole initial group which is the Chinese. While it is still impossible to really prove that all those interesting tales about dragons are in fact real, it is safe to say that their existence even just by words, written works and imagination has greatly impacted in developing other people and shaping who they are as a person now. While it is baffling to even think that dragons are real or not, why not treat it as something that can be both? It may not or not have existed physically but its huge impact towards believers is what we count as proof that dragons do exist.
