The second chakra, most commonly known as the Sacral chakra contains all the needed energy it solely governs reproductive systems and processes, sexuality, relationships, emotions, and sense of adventure. Sexuality tends to be the first thing that comes to mind at the thought of the sacral chakra, but creativity is an often overlooked aspect of it as well. The colour associated with this chakra is orange and it located at the abdomen just above the root chakra or the first chakra, the base chakra of all the seven chakras on the spine, just above the pubic bone, the Sacral chakra is responsible for passion, sexuality, intimacy, money, creativity, and joy. The balance of the Sacral Chakra allows us to improve our relationships with ourselves and others. There are plenty of techniques to open up and balance this chakra, one of which is Fluttering, flipping, tingling, popping and buzzing sensations in our lower abdomen, below our naval area. A sense of shifting, energetic and physical at the same time. There may be fluttering in the root, solar plexus and heart as flow of energy improves and the Sacral chakra opens up. You can also intake food that can greatly help in opening up this chakra, foods like sweet fruits like melons, mangoes, strawberries, passion fruit, oranges and coconut, practically, nuts and tropical fruit aid in activating the Sacral chakra

The Sacral chakra is also known as Svadhisthana in Buddhist terms, aside from it amplifying energies for a more stable relationship it is also linked to how you relate to your emotions as well as the emotions of others. So opening up and keeping this chakra activated and balanced will really help one's interpersonal and intrapersonal dilemmas. Once your Sacral chakra is opened up you'll feel dynamic, stimulated and full of ideas. Alignment in this chakra also gives you the confidence to make significant changes to the way you live your life. It will bring out in you your most confident and best self which will definitely be very helpful into achieving your goals and building your career. As it promotes healthy relationships with others, it can really be helpful toward having the right people surrounding you. When a person's sacral chakra is blocked or underactive, one may be experiencing a sense of lack of control ranging from uncertainty to an inability to cope with life's changes. When the sacral chakra becomes blocked, it often detaches you from your emotions and those around you. This might lead to greater problems. One must know how to accept how ever changing life is, the Buddhists believe that there are really no permanent things in this world and accepting that will soon lead to one's enlightenment. Aligning the seven chakras is one of the many techniques to achieve nirvana which is a more popular term of the bliss enlightenment brings.
